I have to say that the biggest issue I have ever experienced with the game is the memory leaks that eventually cause the game to crash, even if you play a smaller system in galactic conquest. The most up to date version of the game still has some problems running on hardware that is more than good enough for the game to run, but fails to utilize as much ram as it could and as efficiently. Maybe your right, as I mentioned in the op that it's not worth even bothering with galactic conquest since that's so very broken and has so many issues, but a custom space battle may be fun but it does take a huge amount of fun out of it.Most people with 64bit do complain since the game can't fully use all the ram available and eventually memory leaks itself to death and corrupts all it's own savegames, memory fix (if you found it) or not. Basically the game is a broken nightmare that could have been wonderful if it didn't have those issues and I have no idea how to fix it, given that I've tried everything that I heard about and only caused more problems. I do find it strange that I notice other people making videos and playing it on galactic conquest like as if they just simply don't have those issues for some reason. I don't know where to go from here and I might just say fuck it and accept the fact that it's not meant to be.
