If you want a lot of money and gear, just get the quest at Silver Rush to bring Cass, then bring her, then close the door behind you and when the guy wants to kill her, just go 'nah' and kill everybody. If you have, say, power gloves, and just hide in the bathroom, occasionally using grenades to uproots dudes stuck on geometry, you can take out everyone. And sweet Jesus there's so much good shit in there you'll be able to pimp out your companion and yourself, then probably sell about 15k wortha extra shit.
