On this level, I tried to show most of this Russian Overkill port's arsenal and its fire power. Some lags here are my PC's fault, others happened because it wasn't possible to optimize some weapons. I won't collect the Extremesphere anymore, otherwise, the neighbor will call the police on me again. This song is from the 'Extreme Toothbrusing' video, by Brandon Hardesty. The port seems to work in GZDoom.I tested it on this engine's 1.8.2 version and looked ok. In fact, it was created to play RO multiplayer in Zandronum, but is also useful for combining it with mods that won't work with GZDoom, as is the case of The Chamber of Damnation (a slaughter I already presented here), or for those who want to play Russian Overkill, but have trouble running the newer GZDooms. With these weapons of 'mass destruction,' you have to be careful not to kill yourself as well. A deathmatch with Russian Overkill should be a huge mess. I'll add some bots here and check it out. HexaDoxen ported the Russian Overkill to Zandronum with PillowBlaster's approval.
This guaranteed the possibility of multiplayer matches with a proper netcode and all that.By the way, the background music of this level is also from Jenesis. It was taken from the megawad's Map 11. The author warns you to set compatclientssendfullbuttoninfo as true to activate combos and some alternative fire modes, as well as having a good connection, if you intend to host the mod. He also said that he gave his best in order to optimize the weapons, but some of them just simply refuse to it. Most of them are okay, but some are still laggy, like the Katuysha, Libra, Yamato and a few others. Well, as you can see, this Russian Overkill port works fairly good with Zandronum, although some of the stuff is missing.
